Table tops can be purchased from Trent Furniture in a range of sizes, colours and finishes. Our table tops are designed for contract use and are perfect for use as pub table tops, bar table tops, restaurant table tops and much more.

Veneer Finish Table Tops

A veneer finish provides 18mm thickness particleboard with real oak veneer and seemlessly jointed solid hardwood with thumbnail design edge which contributes to protecting tops from knocks and bumps. In addition, the veneer tops are veneered on the reverse face to prevent warping.

Veneer tops are available in Dark Oak, Walnut and Light Oak finish and are supplied with a clear ployurethane lacquer coating.

Table Tops in Solid Finish

A solid finish provides 28mm thickness solid hardwood with half bullnose design edges.
Solid tops are available in Dark Oak, Walnut or Light Oak finish and are supplied with a clear acid catalysed lacquer coating.

Werzalit Table Tops

Werzalit table tops consist of particleboard core manufactured with a high resin laminate coating which seals the core and creates a weather proof and UV resistant surface. The process of encasing the particleboard also results in a heat proof table top which virtually impervious to mechanical, thermal and chemical influences. Sun, rain, ashes, acid and grease - table tops have to stand up to a lot, especially outdoors and table tops from Werzalit shrug off almost everything without a trace. However, they are not infinitely scratch proof so certain objects such as metal, stoneware or unglazed porcelain can cause irreversible marks on the tops, although it will not impair their usability.

Werzalit table tops are extremely robust and hardwearing. They are available in a range of shapes, sizes, colours and patterns and the finishes surface is attractive, durable and easy to clean so perfect for the contract environment.

How to choose the right table top...

Here we provide more information on the things you need to think about when choosing a table top for your pub, restaurant or café. You can also read our complete guide to choosing a table top for further advice.

What is the right size table to for me?

The right size table top depends on a number of factors. For example: the planned seating for each table, the number of covers that your restaurant or bar needs to cater for, the amount of room space you have. With a little careful planning you should be able to find the right combination of table top sizes.

Table top size will also depend on use. Dining tables will require more space than drinking tables, so would need to be larger.
