The Arley Arboretum is found in the beautiful countryside of the Worcestershire and Shropshire borders. The historic gardens and arboretum date back to the late 1700s and are surrounded by over 1600 acres of countryside.
The grounds showcase more than 300 species of trees in formal and informal plantings and gardens.
There are activities for all ages: from the three gardens - Italian, magnolia and walled for the adults, to the dinosaur and fairy trails for the young ones. But the place where all ages meet up to enjoy the site is where our furniture was used – the tea room.
The tea room is where visitors can buy lunch and traditional afternoon tea. The management at Arley Aboretum were looking to increase the seating capacity of this area to make the most of the outdoor space. Following the laying of a new slabbed area, the tea room was ready to begin its search for tables.
“After an exhaustive search on Google, we narrowed down the options of the tables we thought would be fit for purpose,” comments Jenny Harris, sales and administrator manager.
Arley Arboretum needed hard wearing furniture for the outdoor environment with the right design to match the scenic surroundings and at the right price. Fortunately, Trent Furniture’s Square Capra tables with a wood effect finish ticked all the boxes and 20 were ordered.
“We chose to go with Trent Furniture as they could fulfil all our needs, they had the quantities we needed in stock, at a good price and could deliver to our schedule. We have been very pleased with both the service from Trent Furniture and the quality of the tables,” Jenny adds.
Visitors have commented on how good the new area looks and the staff have enjoyed the versatility of being able to move the furniture around to suit needs.
