Hensingham ARLFC is predominantly a rugby club for open-age and youths’ teams, many of which used the main bar during the weekends. However, the club is also proud to be a community club that offers their function room free of charge to everything from pensioners bingo to amateur dramatic societies, as well as hosting weddings, christenings, and birthday parties and more! If you have a special occasion in mind, Hensingham offer the space to celebrate.
With so many different types of event to accommodate, the club needed versatile and flexible furniture. Another club in the area had mentioned Trent Furniture as supplier so the Trent Furniture website seemed a sensible place to start the search. “New furniture is a big investment for a non-profit organisation like ourselves but the reasonable and good reviews overcame any apprehension we had” Graham Broatch explains. “And throughout the order, the customer service was second to none. Sarah (Gechie) from Trent furniture, couldn’t have been more helpful, helping us with samples at the beginning, aright through to delivery.”
There are two rooms of a similar size. Both are mainly used for drinks although utilising chairs and tables from Trent Furniture both are suitable for around 80 people and food is often served in the function room.
