Terry Maguire from the St Eval Community Centre in Wadebridge, Cornwall was pleased that he found Trent Furniture after an internet search.
Work on the newly rebuild community centre was completed towards the end of 2011 and was opened in January 2012 by the local MP Dan Rodgerson. It is set on one level allowing easy access to everybody. It includes 3 community rooms as well as a social club with its own bar and kitchen.
As a not for profit organisation looking for furniture, price, quality and design were important. The tables and chairs that they chose are designed to be long lasting. It’s important that they can be used for a variety of functions and will be ‘timeless’.
The selected ‘Harrow’ chairs with refectory tables in light oak from the furniture online from the Trent Furniture site and it has been used in the main bar area as well as the Sunderland Room – the largest of its community spaces at around 1000 square feet.
Following his order, Terry says that he will be telling people about Trent Furniture who have ‘provided him with friendly service and fantastic delivery to Cornwall’. He adds ‘I can’t think of anything that you could improve on, the whole service was just one easy going transaction - there were no hidden issues or problems”
