Located on the edge of the North Yorkshire Moors National Park in Whitby, The White House Inn provides stunning views of a seafront back drop.
The White House is a popular choice for accommodation in the area, whether it’s for a romantic weekend away or a chance to use the nearby golf course with friends. Guests and visitors also enjoy the bar and restaurant area which provides scenic views in the summer and a cosy log fire in the winter months.
The inn has been a frequent customer of Trent Furniture over the past couple of years and has gradually built up a selection of our furniture throughout their bar and restaurant area. There are dozens of poseur tables and around 100 chairs and high stools used in the bar area. Although different styles of bar furniture are present throughout, the colours remain a mixture of dark oak and light oak.
“We first chose Trent because of a recommendation,” explains Dave Galea, owner of The White House Inn. “After searching their website, I was happy they had a vast choice of furniture at great prices, some of which was cheaper for us to buy than to re-upholster what we already had.”
The most recent order for the bar area was 32 Boston chairs and two Boston armchairs. The Boston chairs are capable of withstanding the harsh conditions that are expected when used in a commercial environment such as a restaurant and bar. Using a combination of armchairs and side chairs works well as it adds versatility to a room.
Because at Trent Furniture we upholster chairs ourselves on site, we are able to offer an extremely wide range of fabrics. To match will the décor of the room, The White House Inn chose brown faux leather upholstery for their new seating.
With summer approaching and scenic views on display at The White House Inn, we’re sure our furniture will get plenty of use over the coming months.
