Skegness is an iconic and famous British getaway location. It is here, on the seafront, that a new pub has been created in a building that was ten years ago burned down by a fire.
The pub was originally refurbished back in 2007 by Trent Furniture. But less than two weeks after opening, the entire Parade Complex was destroyed in a fire which started in an adjacent building. After extensive development, the seafront parade has now been reopened with a new entertainment complex and shops.
Busters is the first of six late-night venues to open in the new development. The new pub features a theme of being at the movies. Aside from the furniture, the interior is filled with many props that engage customers and makes the pub a visitor attraction in its own right. Other plans for the development include an ice rink and ice bar.
The pub was launched to the public at the end of August and for the launch, the owner required new furniture to fill the space.
Taj Singh, the owner, explains that they decided to use Trent Furniture after already having a positive experience with us: “We have been purchasing from Trent furniture for the past ten years. The first time we purchased was for a multi-million pound hotel development in Skegness. We found the products from Trent to be exceptional value for money with a very high quality of finish.”
Appropriately, the pub ordered a range of different seating and tabling: chairs, stools, tables and poseur tables. 35 tables were ordered alongside 54 chair and stools. With a movie theme in the pub, our furniture is at home as it is frequently found on the big screen in TV shows and films including James Bond!
