Built on the outskirts of Bristol, Westerleigh is now the leading facility in the area providing cremation, burial and remembrance gardens as well as a woodland burial ground.
Building for a new hospitality suite and café area began last year and in February the new facilities were opened, alongside a second chapel at the 23-acre site.
The café is used by regular customers and the function and hospitality rooms are used for families holding a wake. The rooms are divisible but there is enough space and furniture for up to 150 people to hold an event. Trent Furniture were used to supply number of tables and chairs from our café range.
Due to the nature of the task, it was difficult to put an exact date on when the building work would be completed in order to deliver the furniture. Trent Furniture kept in close contact with the client to ensure that the furniture was promptly delivered once everything was in place.
Paul Daffurn, group technical manager at Westerleigh Group commented “The quotation and ordering process was very straightforward. Trent Furniture were very helpful in accommodating our requests for delayed delivery arrangements to coincide with the completion of the new buildings. When the delivery day arrived it was very well managed and I was kept notified about the delivery times of each load.”
The site now offers three function suites – two with bar – and a café and kitchen area. The crematorium is believed to be the first in the UK to secure an alcohol licence. All furniture for these areas was proudly supplied by Trent Furniture.
