Portable banqueting furniture can be set up quickly when it is needed for pop-up marketing events such as the upcoming five-course veal supper being laid on by Autumn Yard Suppers.
Organised by Cult Events, a specialist pop-up events marketing agency, the supper is scheduled for November 14th.
Those who attend can expect a lavish feast consisting of five courses of veal dishes and desserts, in the company of veal farmer Chantal Brown of Cotswold Veal, and prepared by chef Ian Ballantyne.
The menu kicks off with veal milanese, served with veal ragu and confit lemon, followed by veal tartare with shallots, capers and lemon, served on sourdough with hay-smoked duck yolk.
Next up is veal liver with sage, tomato, garlic and pancetta, followed by braised chargrilled jacobs ladder with celeriac puree, herbs, chilli and toasted hazelnuts.
There follows a course of spiced raw milk granita and roasted hay pannacotta with salted chocolate and brown butter ice cream.
If all of that has your mouth watering and your tummy rumbling, it might be worth considering a pop-up feast of your own as a marketing activity - whether or not your brand is directly linked with food.
Even if your business is not part of the foodservice or catering industry, a feast could help to attract attention from potential customers, in a way similar to when recruitment agencies hand out coffee in branded cups outside students' unions.
A banquet needs to have a little more finesse to it than simply handing out cups of coffee though, and the right banqueting furniture could be crucial in helping to set the scene.
Portable banqueting furniture looks the part, but is typically stackable, making it easier to transport to your venue without it taking up as much space.
In many cases, banquet seating is designed to be placed close together, to make the most effective use of the space available.
These seats typically come with side hooks that slot together to create a continuous row of seating - ideal to ensure place settings do not go astray due to people moving their chairs as they sit down.
