February 28th sees the 88th Academy Awards - commonly known as the Oscars - take place in Hollywood, and it's an ideal opportunity to set out film club furniture for an awards ceremony of your own.
It's a natural extension of the ways film club furniture gets used on a daily basis anyway, with rows of chairs often set out as temporary or semi-permanent audience seating, ready for screenings and other social events.
You could invite club members to come and watch the Oscars ceremony itself - although in the UK it is likely to start around midnight, making it a fairly late event.
Alternatively, you could hold an awards ceremony of your own, perhaps on one of the earlier days in the weekend, Friday 26th or Saturday 27th.
Your audience seating will serve just as well for an awards ceremony as for a film screening, with only a small amount of space needed at the front for a stage, if you don't normally have one.
Just like a professional ceremony, you could even edit together a film reel of clips from nominated performances.
Of course, there is no reason why your own ceremony must take place on the same weekend as the Oscars, and the beginning of the year through to the springtime is all a good time to give out some awards and brighten up the darker nights of the season.
Alternatively, set out the audience seating when summer arrives, and you can hold a celebration that lasts well into the night - potentially even staging your ceremony outdoors, if the weather and your premises allow for this.
Your ceremony seating is one factor that might influence where you are able to hold your event, but with stackable chairs that can quickly be moved into place, this does not need to be a problem.
Stackable chairs take less storage space, and can be transported into position on a chair trolley, meaning there is no heavy lifting required.
And like all good ceremony seating, you can choose an elegant and glitzy colour scheme, with a selection of metal frames in gold and silver, along with rich red or deep blue fabric for the upholstery.
