Lush and luxurious hotel furniture could help to add a stylish sparkle to many couples' romantic getaways for Valentine's Day.
With "being whisked away for a romantic break" ranking as the most romantic gesture in a recent Travelodge survey, many owners could find the loved-up couples' big day brings in an influx of funds to spend on replacing or updating their hotel furniture.
And in 2012, February is an even bigger month for many couples, as the traditional rules of a leap year give women the chance to propose.
The survey found 26% of men would be happy to receive a proposal from their girlfriend this February 29th.
Relationship psychologist Corinne Sweet explains why time together in a hotel can prove more of a gesture for many couples than material gifts such as flowers, chocolates and jewellery.
"Many people, especially men, spend money to please or appease, when their partners would simply like to have more time, thought and appreciation from them."
With the right hotel furniture, venues can welcome couples into a romantic and lavishly furnished space that helps them to celebrate their love for one another in an inviting and comfortable environment.
