'Sumptuous' hotel furniture has kept a smile on the face of one hotelier, despite the wintry weather gripping the UK in recent weeks.
Angela Dutton, a hotel worker, told the BBC One O'Clock News on March 22nd that a fallen tree and snowy conditions in North Wales had left her trapped in her hotel.
However, she was able to raise a smile - at the thought of spending the night sleeping in one of her rooms.
"It looks as if I'm gonna be sleeping here tonight," Ms Dutton told BBC News, "but on the plus side, there's 15 sumptuous bedrooms that I can choose from."
Her attitude should be an indication to many hospitality workers that your own opinion of your rooms matters as much as that of your guests.
If you'd be happy to spend a night in one of your rooms, that's a good start towards attracting paying guests into your bedrooms.
Hotel furniture obviously plays an important role in achieving this, but it's not just the beds that matter.
Comfortable chairs in your bedrooms allow guests to relax in private, while a well furnished lounge provides a welcoming waiting area for new arrivals while they are waiting to check in.
