Banqueting furniture is designed to cater for large groups of people with durability and versatility - and that doesn't have to mean holding your celebration indoors.
Thanks to the design of banqueting tables, they can usually be transported very easily into an outdoor location, and set up in the usual way to create your dining area, whether this is in a gazebo or tent, or you take the risk of having your event in the open air.
For the easiest portability, choose folding tables - either circular with folding legs, or in a rectangular trestle design - as these can be collapsed flat not only for easier storage, but to make them less cumbersome to move around.
Multiple trestle tables can be placed alongside one another to create a longer banquet table, with table cloths to cover the joins and give a real sense of a lavish celebration.
Each type of table has its own trolley to wheel them into position, so make sure you purchase either a trestle table trolley, or a round table trolley, as appropriate - the round table trolley has a distinctive gap in its middle, which allows the curved edge of the tables to rest in place when they are on their edge.
Remember to use weighted table cloths, or to use some other method to secure the cloth in place so it cannot be blown away if the wind picks up, and consider using quite minimal table decorations so there is less to blow over if your banquet tables are in a breezy location.
You'll also need banqueting chairs, of course, and stacking chairs are the best option so you can transport several at a time out to your exterior location.
Again, a chair trolley can allow you to wheel each stack into place, and should be able to cope with any generally firm and level ground, but especially on a paved path, patio or tarmac area; be careful to keep the stack stable if you have to negotiate any ramps or slopes, and you should generally have no problems getting all of your chairs and tables into place.
