Outdoor furniture allows you to maximise your earnings by creating extra seating spaces outside - but how do you prepare for the notoriously unpredictable British weather?
There are a few options, and in general you probably want a best of both worlds solution - outdoor furniture that will look great in the sunshine, can withstand the occasional shower, and can be packed away if really heavy weather is in the forecast.
It's no coincidence that the vast majority of outdoor furniture is designed to cater for all of those needs, and as with any furniture that needs to be packed away at times, stackable chairs are a great way to do so with the smallest possible physical footprint in terms of floor space.
Lightweight metal frames with wicker seats are sturdy enough to cope with the rigours of daily use, yet easily moved around - not only to carry them under cover when the rain comes, but also for customers who need to add an extra seat at their table, or who just want to move to the other side of your beer garden to stay in the sun for longer.
We can also supply matching outdoor tables in wood, wicker and metal finishes, including lightweight aluminium stacking tables which, again, can be brought indoors or moved to a relatively small undercover area out of the rain.
In terms of the actual finish used, you can choose between aluminium, recycled synthetic teak, or woven synthetic rattan - all of which are very hard-wearing and water-resistant, while giving the appearance of natural woven wicker or polished wood.
Durability is a major focus in all of our outdoor furniture, and there are certain fine details that you could easily overlook - such as our stainless steel tabletops that overlap the sides of the table board, preventing water ingress even during heavy downpours.
Welded joints on aluminium-framed chairs provide a more robust finish than the riveted joints often seen on products from other manufacturers, and will not work themselves loose over time as can happen with 'wobbly' rivets.
All of this gives you outdoor furniture that can stay in situ all year round - you might want to cover it over if extended spells of rain or snow are on the way, but a simple wipe should be enough to bring it back to its best once the sun emerges again.
