Depending on the decor of your premises, there are lots of different choices when it comes to club furniture, from luxurious leather sofas and armchairs, to traditional pub-style dark wood furniture, to conference-style stacking chairs that make it easier to maximise your use of space.
But it's not all about the materials used in your club furniture, or the colour of the upholstery or wood finish - you can add a new dimension in the most literal sense by mixing tall and low items together.
That doesn't mean placing bar stools around a coffee table - seats should always be at the right height for the table they are placed alongside - but by mixing together different seating styles in adjacent areas, you can create separate spaces for your guests to use, and break up the noise level of having everybody speaking at the same height as each other too.
Few seating configurations are more welcoming and comforting than a low dark wood coffee table with a soft leather sofa and armchairs either side of it - add some small leather stools nearby too, and you can accommodate slightly larger groups at the table with no problems.
Bar stools are useful if you have patrons who like to chat to the staff, and can actually help to define which part of the bar is acceptable to sit at, while leaving a clear space for serving customers without reaching over the seated guests.
And you can keep that high-level seating going with an adjacent counter, tall rectangular tables that are great for larger groups - including anyone who can't find a spare seat and needs to stand instead - or with elegant circular poseur tables, one of the all-time icons of bar furniture and still a stand-out addition to your club furniture selection.
In the mid-height range you'll find all the 'normal' seating options, and here you might prefer to think about where each chair will be placed - stools if they need to be moved often, and you don't want the clutter of seat backs or arms in view, while tub chairs are a great way to add an extra comfy seat in an alcove or window recess.
