Perhaps it’s the recession, the cold weather or the long winter nights, but from country pubs to city centre sites, the word ‘comfort’ keeps coming up. Landlords are responding to demand by introducing more comfort for their customers.
So out go hard lines and in come padded seats, or at least seats with backs. New schemes are opting for specific ‘soft’ areas - such as snug sofas and comfy tub chairs in a cosy nook to encourage longer stays. Some of these areas are for holding customers whilst a table becomes available for food. Others are simply designed to tempt customers to linger for longer. Many areas are there to offer a ‘just like home’ appeal to going out.
Trent Furniture offer a wide range of comfy furniture for pubs and restaurants, including tempting sofas, easy chairs, tub chairs etc. Many are made with durable real leather to last the rigours of a busy bar.
