Commercial furniture is an important buying decision - it has to serve a multitude of purposes.
You might want it to match your general interior design scheme or branding, while still delivering the necessary level of comfort for your customers.
It needs to be versatile, so you can accommodate group bookings and parties, without people feeling like you're not really set up to do so properly.
And it may need other 'special abilities' - the commercial furniture equivalent of superpowers - to withstand weather conditions, or stack away into the smallest possible space, and so on.
Restaurant Furniture
Most restaurant furniture has a well defined purpose - to accommodate diners for around two hours, usually in an environment where the tables are all the same height, and group settings are generally around the same size.
You might want to make it as coordinated as possible for those times of year when you lay on a banquet - such as Christmas - and people expect to be seated in a single large group.
And give some thought to lone diners and couples, as they are likely to want somewhere to sit that does not make them feel isolated, but does not mean other diners infringe on their personal space.
Pub Furniture
Pub furniture is usually fairly traditional in style, with a range of different woods to choose from, and a multitude of upholstery options too, including bare wood seats.
Think of the kind of establishment you run - do you suffer a lot of spillages? Are your clientele generally respectful of your furniture?
Wooden furniture is durable and robust, but for a modern, even more indestructible option, you might want to equip your pub with metal chairs and tables, especially outside if you have a beer garden open to the elements.
Bar Furniture
Bar furniture is all about height and style, so think about both, from tall stools to Chester cubes you can perch on next to a coffee table.
Again, you have a choice of wood, metal or leather, with plenty of upholstery options, and decorative spindles, bentwood and pedestal tables.
Club Furniture
Club furniture is often very similar to bar furniture, but if you have private members, they will probably be looking for a more homely feel.
Think about putting more armchairs and sofas in place of harder stools - you should be more aware of exactly how many customers you need to accommodate at any one time, so put that knowledge to good use when planning your space.
