Contemporary Chairs
When it comes to contemporary seating, we have an extensive range of chairs, stools and sofas available. Choosing contemporary chairs helps to create a bright and inviting atmosphere to your interior and here at Trent Furniture we recognise the vital role that furniture plays in achieving the perfect overall look and feel for your interior. In order to be sure of the high quality and durability of our tables and chairs we have had certain designs from our Contemporary Furniture section independently tested by The Furniture Industry Research Association (FIRA). What we have to offer
We stock a variety of furniture manufactured in wood, steel, aluminium or polyurethane. Among our most popular contemporary steel dining chairs are the familiar styles of chair such as the Catania Chair, Remo Chair and Corsica Chair. The Catania, although based on a design first created by the Danish architect Arne Jacobsen in the 1950’s, have a freshness about them and their modern appearance that gives them lasting appeal. The chrome steel under-frame combines perfectly with the formed plywood element that makes the seat and back-rest to create a chair with great appeal. The chrome steel under-frame combines perfectly with the formed plywood element that makes the seat and backrest to create a chair with great appeal. The modern look of these chairs is further enhanced when paired with matching chrome framed tables such as the Chrome Pyramid restaurant tables or Square Adana dining tables.
Bar, Café and Restauranant Chairs with a Contemporary Look
When purchasing furniture for your bar, restaurant or café, consider the modest Rio chair with either bright chrome or black powder coated frame finish for a simple yet attractive contemporary chair. Once you have chosen you frame style, select from our wide range of fabrics for the upholstered seat pad to give your customers extra comfort. Choose a bright fabric for the seat pad to add a pop of colour for a quirky look or opt for standard black or neutral for simplicity and to accentuate the clean lines of the design of the chairs, ultimately giving the room more visual appeal.
Stunning and Comfortable Seating
We stock large quantities of quality upholstery fabrics in a range of colours and patterns and have our own upholstery team working here in our Leicester factory. This enables us to offer lower prices than our competitors and a wider choice of fabrics so you can choose the design that best complements your room’s interior and other soft furnishings. Having the facilities to upholster here on site in the U.K. also means we are able to use a U.K. manufactured, high density combustion modified foam filling so you can be assured that the chairs will stay comfortable over time and meet all U.K. fire safety regulation that are required in a contract environment. However, if you can’t find the colour or pattern you are looking for from our extensive range, we can also accept customers own fabric– please ask one of our sales team for more details.
If an upholstered seat is not what you are looking for, there are plenty of other options which can be supplied with either a padded seat or a wooden seat. Browse our vast and diverse range and select chairs from many modern ranges including that of the Bentwood range which design was initially created by the Danish architect Arne Jacobsen. Although originally popular in the 1950’s, these chairs have a modern style which gives them a current feel and lasting appeal in either the modern café and bar or vintage bistro to restaurant interior
The Phoenix Dining Chair
Another particularly stylish modern all wooden framed chair is the Phoenix Dining Chair which is available in dark oak, walnut finish or light oak colour. These dining chairs have a slender elegantly shaped back that looks very attractive and is particularly comfortable. These chairs go perfectly with the neat lines of the Shaker restaurant tables or with modern chrome steel framed designs like the Pyramid tables.
