How tall should traditional bar stools be? 

The height of the bar stool will totally depend on the height of the bar. The general rule is to choose a bar stool that is approximately 30cm shorter than the bar. A standard bar height is around 107cm so choose a stool that fits with that in mind. 

Space saving traditional bar stools

When buying traditional bar stools, consider how the stool will fit into your bar or pub space, and how this looks, generally hard top or tall fan back, tall stools are great for saving space. Some traditional bar stools are designed to fit neatly under the bar. If they have no arms, then it tucks away easily, but if you choose bar stools with arms then they may take up extra room. It's also important to consider something that is not too heavy, customers might like to move the stool around your space.
