Club Furniture

Trent Furniture offers high quality club chairs and tables at prices considerably lower than our competitors.

You can choose from traditional or contemporary table and chair styles with a choice of light oak, walnut or dark oak finishes for the traditional ranges. Our chairs can be supplied in a wide choice of fabrics that are stocked here at our Leicester factory. We have our own upholstery team here so we can offer a wide variety of fabric colours and designs usually at short notice and at a very affordable cost since we are not using out-sourced technicians.

All our fabrics are treated to be fire resistant and we use only U.K. manufactured combustion modified high density upholstery foam and fillings to ensure that the soft seating cushions remain comfortable.

To ensure our chairs and tables are suitable for contract use we have selected items from each range tested and certified by FIRA (The Furniture Industry Research Association) who are an independent U.K. based furniture testing facility. Our primary aim is to give our customers a wide choice of strong and attractive furniture at prices that are lower than offered by our competitors.

What is club furniture?

Club furniture is furniture that finds its home in a sports club or venue, such as a social area near a tennis club, cricket club or a golf clubhouse. The furniture there fits into a category between restaurant and pub furniture where the key goals are comfort, wear and tear resistance and the provision of a social and inviting environment for members of the club or visitors.

How to clean and maintain club furniture?

With all of the activities that people get up to at a sports club, club furniture can come under considerable stress and wear and tear. Whether it’s mud and rain or sweat and sun damage, there are a number of ways that you can clean and maintain club furniture. Soap and warm water is often the best option to clean your fabrics and vinyl furniture, after blotting off any excess moisture from spills. For wood and chrome, a polish will be your best choice to keep the furniture looking its best and keep it free from damage.

What furniture do clubs need?

Depending on the services a club offers, there are different types of furniture that would be needed. If the club or clubhouse is going to function as a purely social area with only minimal facilities for food or drink provision, such as vending machines, then sofas and comfortable chairs with side tables would be the best choice. If there is going to be more food provided, possibly through teas for players or after-game meals, upright chairs and tables will provide a bistro/restaurant feel. If the use of the club will be a combination of the two above options, then stackable chairs and folding tables can provide the seating needed for eating, but can then be removed to open the area out into a social area.
