Traditional Chairs
Traditional Chairs from Trent Furniture are constructed using solid beechwood expertly assembled to ensure a long lasting chair which will withstand a bust contract environment. The wooden chairs in this range are perfect for creating a welcoming British pub atmosphere or if you are looking for classic seating with character for your dining chairs or restaurant area.
Our Traditional chair collection includes Mates Chairs, Tall Captain's Barstool, Admiral's Chairs, Celtic Armchairs, Fiddleback chairs, Wheelback Armchairs, Baby Chairs with a tray, Tub Chairs and many more. The chairs illustrated in this section are produced in Europe using high quality European beech hardwood in long established factories with a long heritage and great expertise in manufacturing this type of contract furniture.
The joints of the chairs are glued and screwed or pinned for maximum longevity. These chairs are ideally suitable for use as pub chairs, bar chairs or restaurant chairs and are available in a choice of timber finishes. We offer light oak finish, walnut finish or dark oak finish so you can choose a colour that best complements the style of your establishment's interior and creates the ambience that you wish to achieve.
Because we have the facility to upholster our chairs in our own factory here in Leicester we are able to offer an extensive choice of fabric colours and patterns at very reasonable prices. We have several ranges of fabric cloth in Tweed, plain or patterned Dralon and plain or patterned Flatwoven fabric. You can see the fabric colours and patterns that we offer by clicking on 'fabrics' on the left hand side of our web page. We use UK purchased fire retardant upholstery foam and fillings for our traditional chairs along with our quality FR coated fabrics so you can be sure that all the furniture that you buy from us meets all the legal requirements for fire safety, certificates being available on request.
In order to be sure of the high quality and durability of our tables and chairs we have had certain designs from many of the sections independently tested by The Furniture Industry Research Association (FIRA).
