Pub or Restaurat Stool
The Tall Colonial Stool is a traditional wooden stool and another popular tall bar stool for a pub or restaurant bar area. We supply these stools in a choice of dark oak, walnut or light oak finishes in order to complement the style and colour of any interior. The three wood colours are typical of the colonial style furniture which has inspired the design of the Tall Colonial Stool and dates back to the American Colonial era which spanned the period of approximately 1620 to 1780. Steeped in fascinating history, the Colonial stool has a certain charm which is created partly by the extensively turned legs and solid wooden construction.
Strong and Durable
The Tall Colonial Tudor Stools are designed for contract use and built with strength and durability at the forefront of the design specification. Constructed with a solid hardwood frame, these stools are supplied fully assembled and boast strong mortice and tenon joints that are glued with modern PVA adhesive and screwed to secure each joint. The solid wooden top is round in shape and generous enough in size to allow customers to perch at a poseur table or prop up the bar. If you are looking for an upholstered stool as opposed to wooden top then these stools can also be supplied in a range of fabric tops so please call the office to request free fabric samples or discuss fabric options further.
The frame style is similar in design to the Small Wooden Bar Stool so they are often combined with these to provide low and high seating for a room in the same style. The Colonial Stools are also regularly combined with chairs from our traditional chairs range as many have the same colonial old pub style that is so appealing in the Colonial Stools.
