The Monaco, sometimes known as the Bolero Chair is an outdoor stacking chair and is available as shown here in basic aluminium but can also be supplied in wood effect or wicker in a range of colours. The ‘all aluminium version of the Monaco chair is constructed with pressed aluminium slats for the seat and back support of the chair. The bright aluminium finish is stylish and smart whilst still practical offering a finish which is water resistant and suitable for outdoor use. These chairs are exceptionally strong and durable with fully welded joints throughout. Fully welded joints are superior to riveted joints which are often used by other suppliers on this style of chair. The Monaco have 38mm by 16mm oval section tubing for the front legs and the back support section which give great strength and is also more attractive than the round tubing typically used on this type of chair.
The Monaco stacking chair has been tested by the independent testing company; FIRA International (The Furniture Industry Research Association) and deemed suitable for contract use. This chair is designed for use outdoors and is very popular as outdoor seating but they are also selected as indoor seating for leisure centres, university student unions and schools to name a few. The Monaco is a practical, comfortable and versatile chair and has the added benefit of being stackable. This is extremely useful for venues where seating is not permanent and chairs need to be stored when not in use or in places where outside furniture needs to be put away over night or during colder seasons.
The Monaco chairs are essentially garden chairs and have been designed for outdoor use so they make excellent garden or pavement chairs when combined with tables like the Round Alma Table and other bolero style furniture.
