Holme Hall Golf Club has been in operation since 1908 and has evolved into a thriving members club that opens its doors to many visitors over the year. It has championship status and is recognised as one of the leading golf courses in North Lincolnshire.
Recently the club purchased new chairs, tables and stools from Trent Furniture when refurbing an underused bar space. They wanted to make the area more user friendly with furniture that was hard wearing and versatile, and the range they sourced from Trent Furniture fitted the bill perfectly.
The club needed to stick to a budget while being mindful of the architecture of the space. Having a range of furniture from high chairs, to bar stools and chairs meant they could have a coordinated feel to the bar. The tables were chosen with a pedestal centre to enable more than just 4 people to pull up a chair around them and to allow ease of movement so they can set up differing formations as needed.
Sharon Watson, Lady Vice Captain of the Holme Hall Golf Club explained the process of working with Trent Furniture. ‘The service we have received from Trent furniture has been exceptional. We had a time frame to work around the removal of a giant snooker table, decorating, recarpeting and Christmas holidays thrown into the mix. Samples were received promptly and liaising with customer services we were able to pinpoint a specific date for delivery for us to all work towards. Confirmation phone calls were received in the run up to delivery and also a time frame for delivery which was pretty much stuck to. With the time frame being crucial, customer services went out of their way to find the correct products for our needs when our first choice was out of stock.’
