Leather Chairs
When choosing leather dining chairs it is important to consider how they have been constructed. At Trent Furniture our main objective is to present our customers with high quality furniture at value that beats that of our competitors. As this attractive style of chair has become more and more popular so the competition has increased with pressure on suppliers to offer lower prices. Of course this is a good thing for the customer unless too much cost cutting impacts on the chair’s quality or durability.
We have several styles of leather dining chairs available among which we can offer light or dark oak legs with leather upholstery finished in antique brown, black, red or cream. The leather surface is protected with a clear polyeurethane coating that is easily wiped clean and is very scratch resistant. We use high density combustion modified foam beneath the leather upholstery to ensure high levels of comfort for your seated guests.
We predominantly use Birch wood or Ash wood for the chair frames and the stressed areas where the front and back legs attach to the seat frame have extra triangulating wooden blocks that are glued and screwed in place to create a chair frame that will remain secure in the long term. We can supply faux-leather dining chairs that have the advantage of a lower cost but will also give great service. Because manufacturing techniques have advanced greatly in recent years, modern faux leathers have a very realistic appearance and feel that combined with easy maintenance makes them a very good choice for many applications.
Our leather dining chairs look perfect matched with modern or traditional dining tables in wood or metal, equally appropriate set beside a modern chrome steel framed table or alongside the complimentary lines of one of the Shaker style restaurant tables.
In order to ensure that our leather dining chairs will give great service we have representative models tested by FIRA (The Furniture Industry Research Association) who are an independent furniture testing facility who use specially designed machinery and systems to replicate the wear and usage a chair will receive in a commercial environment. In this way, any problems or weaknesses in the design can be corrected before the chair is produced in quantity and offered on the open market. FIRA also assess fire retardancy and fabric durability and only certificate the chairs after they have been successfully tested and this gives us the confidence that our leather dining chairs are suitable for business use.
