The Grampound Road Cricket Club in Cornwall, established in 1934, are celebrating the opening of their new brand new £265,000 pavilion. The new pavilion, funded by Sport England and the England and Wales Cricket Trust, was opened in style by Sir Tim Rice with a match between their club and the world famous Marylebone Cricket Club.
When it came to furnishing this new state of the art pavilion the club needed quality, durable and long-lasting products that the community could enjoy for years to come. Trent Furniture’s furniture was the perfect solution with ‘longevity built into every one of their products’. The chairman’s wife found Trent Furniture online, having never used them before and ordered what was needed to stylishly furnish the new pavilion. Grampound chose to order 60 of Trent Furniture’s Catania chairs, 10 Shaker tables, and a selection of Manhattan two seaters, Monza bar stools and rectangular Shaker tables.
With the official opening approaching fast and local people eager to see the much anticipated pavilion it was vital that the products were delivered quickly and efficiently. Gavin Richards from the club commented: “With a tight deadline to getting the pavilion opened in time for the new season we were delighted that your company delivered as quickly as you did and that there were no delivery issues.”
