Culford School in Suffolk recently chose Trent Furniture to supply new dining furniture and create a safe, temporary dining space for pupils.
Covid-19 has brought with it many challenges and changes in the way schools operate throughout the UK. Culford School was quick to react and create safe dining environments for its pupils and staff. The additional dining space was created to give the pupils staggered dining times and more room for social distancing.
An independent boarding and day school for pupils aged 1-18 years old, Culford is set in a stunning 480-acre parkland. The school prides itself on providing an educational experience that is challenging, enriching and fun with excellent inspection results all round.
When asked why they chose Trent Furniture for the job, Culford’s Management Accountant Alice Oxford explained that ‘extremely quick delivery was needed for rapid response to changing COVID status’ and also that Trent Furniture offered ‘value products.’
Trent Furniture prides itself of the value and quality of our products, and throughout the pandemic we have stayed open and continued to deliver to customers who are facing changing needs when it comes to adapting their venues.
Culford School furnished their temporary dining space with the 6' American Trestle Table, which ordinarily seats 8 but is ideal for seating fewer pupils in a more socially distanced capacity. Hardwearing and versatile, the trestle table is easy to fold away, meaning it’s the perfect choice for a temporary surface.
