The Factory is a live music and events venue located within Petroc Further and Higher Education College in North Devon. The industrial style space has featured a wonderful selection of comedy and music acts including George Ezra, Newton Faulkner, Reef, Martin Kemp and Craig Charles.
The venue came to us to purchase new chairs which have enabled them to host seated comedy and music events. Adding the seating has also opened up the capacity for corporate events, award ceremonies, exhibitions, conventions, quiz nights and charity events.
The chairs chosen were the Islington Stacking Chair with black frame and upholstery – perfect for the venue’s industrial style. Thanks to the extra thick padded seat and upholstered back panel, these seats are extremely comfortable for sitting for long periods. Plus, these chairs are sturdy, fully stackable and designed for contract use so they can be moved and packed away easily for different events.
Along with the Islington Chairs, The Factory also opted for the American Trestle Table. This contract quality table seats up to eight people but collapses down so that it’s incredibly easy to store when not in use. Despite being a very cost-effective option, the American Trestle Table looks great thanks to its black steel legs and varnished top.
We asked Clare Chapple, Venue, Events & Entertainment Manager at The Factory why they chose Trent Furniture and she explained that Trent Furniture offered a ‘very competitive price and large amount of stock available at short notice.’ Regarding the chairs themselves, she added that they ‘are comfortable and fit well with our industrial venue theme.’
