Based in Shoreditch, Lady Dinah’s Cat Emporium is the capital’s first ever cat café. Opened in 2013, the café allows visitors to relax with a cup of tea, coffee or a light snack, in the presence of 12 feline friends.
The venue provides rescue cats with a safe, comfortable place to live, whilst catering for their human visitors, meaning that their furniture had to be carefully chosen. When the Emporium’s owners decided it was time to refresh their furniture, they turned to Trent Furniture to provide them with great quality, stylish products.
In keeping with the Emporium’s kitsch and quirky style, the owners decided to purchase a variety of comfortable tall and small wooden stools, with different patterned upholstery. Further to this, they chose 3 Dolphin cast iron tables – certain to stay upright when the cats are on the prowl, and perfectly paired with small wooden stools. Finally they picked a black Double Pyramid Poseur, also with a sturdy base to keep the feline inhabitants safe.
