New pub furniture could help landlords to make a good impression on their local MPs ahead of English Tourism Week 2012.

March 16th is National Tourism Constituency Day, when MPs are asked to make appearances at local tourism-related businesses, making it a good opportunity for pub owners and managers to request their attendance.
Brigid Simmonds, chief executive of the BBPA, says the coming summer is an important period for English pubs - with events including the Olympic Games and the Diamond Jubilee renewing the country's position on the global agenda.
"2012 must be the year for the pub, with the summer of celebration ahead of us," she adds.
